New ACE Reports Published

POSTED BY Denise Friend | 14 Jun 2017

Accelerate, Co-ordinate and Evaluate (ACE) is an exciting early diagnosis programme that supports the NHS outcome of ‘preventing people from dying prematurely’.  ‚ÄčThis unique initiative is supported by Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support and is running across England for 3 years.

The first of the final ACE reports looking at lung cancer diagnostic pathways was published in March, followed by a report looking at the best routes to diagnosis for patients with vague symptoms. Hot off the press are new reports which have now been published around:

  • Using cancer decision support tools to support early diagnosis of cancer
  • The role of non-GP primary care in the early diagnosis of cancer

Alongside these, is a paper anticipating the challenges of change within the NHS and an update on the 5 multidisciplinary diagnostic centre projects. Click here to find out more.
