rnrnThe Children and Young People’s Eating Disorder Learning Collaborative is chaired by our Clinical Associate and meets quarterly (for meeting dates please see ‘Meetings and Events’).
rnrnThe aims of the learning collaborative are to;
rnrnMembership comprises;
rnrnEvery year we undertake an annual mapping exercise based on national guidance, to help the collaborative identify areas of strength and areas for improvement to inform the clinical network work programme.
rnrnIn response to feedback from our Learning Collaborative and Provider Improvement Forum we have developed a programme of learning lunches for professionals (for further information see ‘Meetings and Events’).
rnrnBEAT have also recently delivered 2 training courses 1) Beyond the Symptoms (professionals) and 2) Developing Dolphins (parents/carers) which have been positively evaluated.
rnrnEating Disorder Awareness Week
rnrnThis year the theme was ‘Binge Eating’. More people live with binge eating disorder than anorexia or bulimia and is more common than people think. Helpful resources can be found here.
rnrnSpecialist Eating Disorder Services
rnrnThe specialist NHS CYP Mental Health Providers covering Yorkshire & the Humber and delivering eating disorder services are:
